Just Chillin'

Thought I would share with you another mini that I made within a tin. This is a pencil box that I picked up at my local office supply store. I used the Just Chillin' collection from TaDa Creative Studios. It's all high quality two sided paper. I just love it and you will too!

Once again, this is an accordian fold mini that is attached to the back wall of the tin and it simply pulls out.

There are tons of spots for pictures.

And special journaling tags with pockets to put them in!

I even used the inside of the lid!

School supplies on the shelves mean pencil boxes!! Think of all the great minis you can make!!

The Circus is Coming! The Circus is Coming!

Step right up boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen! Come see the circus!
When I ran across this adorable Circus tin all I could think of was what a great mini it would make using the fun Big Top collections from TaDa Creative Studios!

I decided the best way to do this was to make it an accordian style mini that attaches to the back wall of the tin.

The thing I love about an accordian fold mini is that you have twice the space to mount your photos and add journaling!

In my scrapbooking world you can never ever have too many pockets or too many tags for journaling or to add extra pictures.Here are some of the panels.

 

Keep in mind that TaDa Creative Studios also has 12 x 12 sheets called Snippets and Clippets that are journaling tags so all you have to do is cut them up and slide them into the pockets! How easy is that?!

 

 

I hope that this has inspired you to make a special circus mini album to hold all of your precious memories for the next time the circus is in town!!

Visiting the Barn!

Today I thought I would take you on a trip to my favorite barn! A barn mini album that I created using the fantastic Yee Haw collection from TaDa Creative Studios! This paper is so much fun to work with that you will fall in love with it!

Here are a couple of pictures from the inside of the mini!

I love looking out the barn window over the nice green pasture! Every barn needs a tack room so you can keep your horses in tip top shape!!

The next stop is to check on the tractor. Hey! Who's driving that thing?!!

It looks like we have a couple of stray sheep wondering around! I hope we can get them back to the field! And no trip to the country would be complete without seeing a quilt hanging on the line!

At the end of the day, we have to make sure all of our animals are tucked in and ready for a good nights sleep!

In my scrapbooking world every page has at least one pocket and since these pages are made with envelopes that was easy to do! I decided that I wanted these tags to all be the same color and brown seemed to work the best. I used these wonderful repositional stickers that TaDa makes to decorate my tags.

Christmas in July!!

Wow! Summer is rolling right along! This is the a mini that I created with the wonderful Poolside collection from TaDa creative studios! Snowball Mini

Now that we finally have cold weather and a threat of snow, it seemed like the perfect time to create a snowball mini! I used the Frozen Tozen collection from TaDa Creative Studios! Great paper to work with! It makes any project a breeze! I would suggest you stock up on some of this paper so when you get a "Snow Day" you'll be able to make one of your own! In Toledo, you can purchase this paper and many more of the great papers from TaDa Creative Studios at Bayer's Pampered Stampers on Ralston Circle! Busy New Year

Just wanted to let everyone know that there are lots of great new things coming up this year at Bayer's Pampered Stampers in Toledo. This great new shop is located at 1620 Ralston Circle and it is worth the trip!! For those of you that live in Toledo and are familiar with the area, Ralston Circle is located directly behind the Speedway at Dorr and Reynolds. For those of you that don't live in Toledo, it's a good time for a road trip so get out your GPS!! Great products, weekly demos and lot of fun classes coming up!! I will be teaching a Page of the Month class on the second Saturday of every month and also a "Snowball Mini" on Saturday, January 21st! Which is pretty funny since we have had NO snow in Toledo this winter!! So stop in and say "Hi" to Melissa!

Beautiful wreath

This is the beautiful wreath that Mary and Annette from TaDa Creative Studios offered in a special class at our benefit crop on Saturday, October 15th! It was made with the paper from the Bountiful Blooms collections from TaDa! It was a great day and a huge success!! Thanks again, Mary and Annette!!

Great Crop!!

My beautiful daughter, Amy, organized a wonderful card making/scrapbooking crop that was held yesturday. We had a full house of scrappers and card makers. Great food provided by the Nu Xi chapter of Sigma Phi Gamma. We had the wonderful ladies, Mary and Annette, there from TaDa Creative Studios! We had awesome make and takes by Sue Freeman, Karen Schwochow and Catherine Galvin. Jen Czyzewski running our Cricut station. Angie Snyder from Close To My Heart and Deb Brighty from Stampin' Up were there. Great  grand door prizes donated by Holly Kolwalczk and Ed Packer. Hourly door prizes and a fabulous grand prize donated by my dear friend, Sherry Baas, of Bass Jct. Rubber Stamps. And best of all...all proceeds will benefit the Christmas Extravaganza program. 50 needy families from the Toledo are will receive food baskets with enough food for at least 10 meals and Christmas gifts! WAY TO GO, AMY! We love you beyond words and are so very proud of you!!

As We Remember

Today as we remember the victims, the families and friends of those lost, the brave policemen, firefighters and those in our armed forces, we pray that God will one day bring us peace. We pray that one day everyone will realize that we are all God's children. And may God bless America!

This was the first time that I have worked with Little Blooms by Punky Sprouts, but it sure won't be the last! I really love the versatility of all of these products.
